Use: For an administrator to create, update, and delete administrative events/tasks by date, time and type of task. Examples of these types of tasks or events are typically processes that are designed to run in the background, like downloading/uploading information to and for systems, running reports, sending communication, or moving files.
Description: The administrative table, Calendar, displays saved events and tasks by month, week, day and list view. The calendar can be filtered by event type and each type is color coded. The Calendar currently displays the following event types: Event, Automation, Communication, Student Financial Aid Office (SFAO) Task, and Student Accounts Office (SAO) Task. The calendar enables the scheduling of events by date and time and offers repeating based on a number of days, weeks and months.
Accessed by:
- Navigate to Student Financial Services Utilities and Reports Site
- In menu on right, click Administration/Utilities/Calendar
Adding a Calendar Event:
- click Add Event, this opens the add/edit modal for the Calendar
- select Event Type, selection determines the fields that then display below in the modal.
- Event Type: Event -displays as green on the calendar
- enter Event Title, format can include uppercase, lowercase and spaces
- Repeating Event, can be checked if user wants to schedule the communication for more than one day, week, or month. Checking the box reveals two additional fields for Repeat Every
- number input, select the number of days, weeks, or months
- select day, week or month from dropdown

- select date/time to start event
- select date to end event
- click Ok to save
- Event Type: Automation -displays as blue on the calendar
- select Automation Title, from dropdown
- enter Parameter
- Repeating Event, can be checked if user wants to schedule the communication for more than one day, week, or month. Checking the box reveals two additional fields for Repeat Every

- select Communication Event Title, from dropdown

- Event Type: SFAO Task -displays as red on the calendar
- enter SFAO Task Title, format can include uppercase, lowercase and spaces
- Repeating Event, can be checked if user wants to schedule the communication for more than one day, week, or month. Checking the box reveals two additional fields for Repeat Every

- to view a communication event on the calendar refresh the browser
Editing a Communication:
- click on a calendar item to open the edit modal
- update the current fields, using the existing format
- click Ok to save
Deleting a Persona:
- click on a calendar item you want to delete, this will open the edit modal
- click Delete Event to remove from calendar
